MAT: Demo Derby Day

Demo Derby Day with SUV, MiniVans and Small Trucks
Schedule: Gates Open at 12 PM. Racing Starting at 2PM
Ticket Options: Adult 14+ $15, Kids 6+ $5, Military and Senior (65+) $13
Home of South Central Alaska’s dirt track action, Thunder Valley Speedway, located in Willow, has been the place for those passionate about dirt travel oval racing. Established in the 70s by the Wallace Family as Capitol Speedway, a new stewardship of the facility and their first season began in 2023 by the Hutchings Family.
Make sure you make it out to great races and enjoy the enhancements done trackside for the fans’ enjoyment this summer! There are nine standard classes: Winged Sprints, Hobby Stocks, Dollar Stock, Mini Stock, A-Stock, B-Stock, Legends, Wingless Sprints, and Dirt Late Models, yet not all classes race each weekend. Through out the season there will be special events: Demo Derby, Powder Puff, Tribute, Spectator and hosting the Alaska State Shootout with Twin City Raceway in Kenai and Mitchell Raceway in Fairbanks!
