FAI: Mitchell Raceway Dirt Track Oval Racing

Action begins at Mitchell Raceway Saturday, May 21st, and brings competition over the five classes – Spints, Modifieds, Sportsman, Dollar Stock and Mini Mods – through August 27th!

The Alaska Dirt Shootout over the June 24-25th (with a rain date of the 26th)!

Community-oriented, Mitchell Raceway will be acknowledging the importance of our Military with an Appreciation Night in July, Christmas in July (with a $5 minimum toy donation), Canned Food Drive evening, and even support to Animal Shelter Night!

Schedule for the season (save Shootout Weekend):

Pits Open at 5 PM

Grandstands Open at 6 PM

Racing Action Starts at 7 PM

Admission Fees:

Adult $10

Active Military $8 (with ID)

UAF Students $8 (with ID)

Youth $5 (ages 11-15)

Kids 10 and under – FREE

Seniors (65 +) – FREE

Pit Admission Fees aka The Back Gate:

Members: $30 for Car & Driver and $10 Pit Pass (Crew)

Non-Members: $50 for Car & Drive and $20 Pit Pass (Crew)

Note: Pit Entrants ages 14-17 must have a Notarized Minor Waiver signed by both (if applicable) parent(s) or legal guardian(s), AND a parent or legal guardian must be present in the pits. This only has to be filed with the Pit Gate Attendant once for the season. 

• Youth under 14 are only permitted in the pit area before the race program.

• Youth are highly encouraged to join us in the pit area after racing is completed for the evening!
